Custom Color Matching

Visual acceptance or rejection of color matches is based on a person's own subjective color perception skills. In any industry, this can lead to confusion and frustration between customers, suppliers, vendors, production and management. To aid in color decisions, color acceptability using objective numerical values is utilized.

  • Precise color matching
  • Lot to lot consistency
  • 1.0 delta

These numerical values are used as guidelines or tolerance limits to aid in controlling color in the process, to ensure color consistency within a production run, and to minimize lot to lot variability. To this end, idproducts uses the CMC Color Tolerance System. Our state of the art Xrite Spectrophotometer allows us to control our process and maintain a DE of 1.0 or less. This is why we are regularly entrusted with establishing color standards for many of our customers.
